This statement explains what personal data the FKI processes (not only via the website) and what rights you have if you are the data subject.

The website franz-kafka.cz uses cookies. These are small text files that are transferred from the website to the hard drive of the user’s computer. We use functional cookies, which are necessary for the basic functioning of the website, as well as analytical cookies, which collect non-personal data that helps us analyse the behaviour of visitors to our website. This information is processed on our behalf by Google, Inc. using the Google Analytics tool. You may also consent to the use of marketing cookies, which collect information to better tailor advertising both on our website and elsewhere. Information emails, newsletters
We use the email addresses provided when subscribing to the newsletter to send information about FKI public events and other updates regarding FKI activities. Consent to data processing may be withdrawn at any time in writing by emailing research(at)franz-kafka.cz.
Photographic documentation and video recordings of events
With the knowledge and consent of participants, we produce photographic documentation and video recordings at selected events organised by the FKI. The documentation and recordings are produced for the purposes of archiving, use in the annual report, and to promote the FKI on the FKI website, the FKI’s Facebook profile, Twitter or the FKI’s YouTube channel. Photos and video recordings are not linked to any other personal data.
FKI Privacy Policy
Personal data is processed exclusively by authorised and properly trained staff. The FKI does not disclose any personal data relating to users of its information services to third parties.
